Event Description

All stakeholders involved in producing textiles and fashion – from chemical suppliers, manufacturers to the brands and retailers – are facing higher expectations and stricter legislation for more transparent and sustainable use of chemical products. Chemical suppliers are invited to participate in this "Engagement Event" in Dhaka to jointly discuss the challenges and opportunities these industry developments present specifically for chemical suppliers. Based on an existing partnership, the event is jointly organized by the GIZ and GoBlu: During the first part, industry experts will share their insights on how chemical suppliers can collaborate with other stakeholder groups to accelerate a transparent use of sustainable chemistry. An open exchange among all participants to discuss possible synergies and opportunities will follow in the second half of the event.
